Shared photo albums. Point, shoot, and share.
This Privacy Policy explains what information WeCam collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built WeCam to be genuinely useful, and we keep data collection to what the app needs to work. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.
Information we collect
- Account information. If you create an account or sign in, we collect identifiers such as your email address, name, or a Sign in with Apple identifier.
- Content you create. This includes the photos and shared albums you capture and contribute to, stored so the app can deliver its core feature.
- Purchase information. When you make an in-app purchase or subscription, our payments provider (RevenueCat, working with Apple) processes purchase and subscription status. Apple handles your actual payment, and we never see your card details.
- Usage and diagnostics. We collect limited, anonymized usage and diagnostic information (for example, that a feature was used, or that the app crashed) to keep WeCam reliable. This is not tied to advertising.
How we use information
- To provide and operate WeCam and its core features.
- To process purchases and manage subscriptions.
- To keep the app secure, fix bugs, and improve performance.
- To respond to your support requests.
How information is shared
We share information only with service providers who help us run the app, principally Apple (App Store, sign-in, payments) and RevenueCat (subscription management), and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
User content & safety
WeCam lets people create and share content. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You can report content or block other users from within the app, and we remove flagged content and remove or ban offending users within 24 hours of a report. By using WeCam you agree to our End User License Agreement.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the app. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through our support form, and we will delete it within 30 days except where we are legally required to retain it.
Your choices
You can edit or delete content within the app, manage subscriptions through your Apple account settings, and request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.
Children's privacy
WeCam is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to safeguard your data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
